Recalculating tax in edit/create job

Recalculating tax when creating or editing a job will cause the total to change based on the tax % set for Tax and the job total

If a job's total has changed - increased/decreased - and you have tax 'Activated' in Pricing you will have to click on the 'Recalculate' tax button in order for the system to recalculate the tax on the new job total:

Tax will NOT automatically recalculate when editing a job
You have to click 'Recalculate' next to each tax if you have multiple taxes 'Activated'
You can set tax to $0 directly by typing $0 in the value box for the tax item when editing/creating a job, if you have had tax 'Activated' previously but have deactivated it now
