Schedule conflict messages appear when you make changes to a job and the changes impact future jobs

Editing a job can cause a 'Conflict in schedule' message to appear on your screen when you save:

  • Only applies to recurring jobs
  • The 'Conflict in schedule' message appears when a change made to a recurring job has an impact on future jobs
  • The edits that can prompt the pop up are:
    • Change in tech/team assignment
    • Change in service date
    • Change in service time

Reasons for appearing:

  • The impact on the future jobs that causes the 'Conflict in schedule' message to appear can be:
    • Tech/team availability in the future is not compatible (tech/team could already be assigned to a job or they may not be available for work)
    • The newly changed service date for the job is a day that is already fully booked (tech/team availability also is a factor here as well:
      • Example: if the assigned tech/team are already fully booked on that day)
    • The newly changed service time for the job is a time that is already fully booked (tech/team availability also is a factor here as well:
      • Example: if the assigned tech/team are already booked for that time slot)
