Job & customer reminder automation set up

Learn how to set up automated reminders for your customers and how to set up automated job charging

  • You can set your customer reminders to be automated (email and/or text message)
  • You can set jobs to charge automatically
  • You can your receipt to send automatically (email and/or text message)

An integration with Twilio is required for automated text messaging

 
1. Automated Email and/or Text Customer Reminders  

- Go to Settings --> General - Customer communication

- Check the 'Send job reminders automatically' box

- Choose if you would like to send reminders through email, text, or both (Twilio integration required for text)

- Choose when you would like the reminder to go out (based on the service date)

2. Automated job recreation and charging

- Go to Settings --> General - Customer communication

- Check the 'Charge customers automatically' box

- Choose when you would like the payment to be collected (based on the service date) - Job status will be set to 'Paid' - Job will be recreated if it's a recurring service

3. Automated receipt sending

- Go to Settings --> General - Customer communication

- Check the 'Send receipts to customer automatically' box

- Choose if you would like to send receipts through email, text, or both (Twilio integration required for text)

- Choose when you would like the reminder to go out (based on the service date)
